Studio Mantra Hair Salon – Eugene stylist has work featured on cover of NorthWest Stylist and Salon Newspaper! Creative hairstyling, beautiful haircolor and make-up, along with a gorgeous model and excellent photography contributed to a beautiful image for their June covershot.

“One of  my goals this year was to achieve this cover! Last year, in my first submission, I took third place, and Honorable mention, which gave me a basis to push my creative boundaries and put a great team of professionals together resulting in  a more noteworthy image,”states downtown Eugene salon owner, Gwynne McLaughlin.

Gwynne gives a lot of credit to local photographer, Richard Roman, for capturing the vintage feel of the modernized 1940’s style. She also wanted to give an edgy feel to the look with the make-up, but not overwhelm either the beauty of the model, nor take away from the rich haircolor.

“I am pleased to be able to represent our small city within the beauty industry and my peers on a larger scale. I am grateful for the opportunity to do so .Studio Mantra houses many talented stylists, and I hope to be able to provide them with more opportunities to push their creativity to a higher level. This is not work, its fun!”
